In April, the 40-year-old actor sparked a frenzy among his fans, coworkers, and social media users by posting photographs of his infant child and new wife on his Instagram page.

The actor stated that it was past time for the public to meet his son, Star Dike Munachimso Yul Edochie, whom he adores just as much as his other children.

However, on Friday, the actor shared a nine-minute video on his Facebook page titled "Why I Married a Second Wife."

"It's been an incredible era of my life; ever since the announcement that I married a second wife, it's been chaotic," he remarked.

Since the scandal in his marriage erupted, the actor has revealed he has received calls and messages from admirers all around the world.

Yul, who began his acting career 17 years ago, believes his fans, family, and coworkers have a right to know why he married a second wife.

The father-of-four stated in the video that he married a second wife because he couldn't let go of his colleague-turned-wife.

He believes that a guy may love two women.

He also stated that he couldn't let her go because of the influence she had on his life.

"At this point in my life, I believe it is conceivable for a guy to love two women since two women may contribute differently to a man's life," he stated.

"Someone cannot enter your life and have such an influence, and you simply cannot let this person leave." Of course, many people would question why, as a married man, you allowed a woman into your life. I admitted my error and accepted responsibility for it.

"Things like this happen. Let's be real. I realised I couldn't let such a wonderful woman leave my life.

"These are some of the most lovely women in town." They each contribute something unique to the table. It is possible to love two women at the same time. I used to believe it was impossible, but now I see that it is. "

Yul married his first wife, May, in 2004, at the age of 22, after dating for six years.

In October 2021, the pair will celebrate their 17th wedding anniversary.

Judy and Yul first collaborated when she produced and played the lead role in the film "Native Girl."

It was her first time directing or producing a film. She portrayed the hesitant wife of Yul, an international businessman, in the film.

Aside from performing and directing, she stated that Yul financially sponsored the production. She stated that the film cost N4 million to create.

The duo were named brand ambassadors for Oros exquisite French fragrances in 2017.

Judy had a tendency to congratulate Yul on her Facebook page, but everyone felt it was all about a junior colleague doing the necessary for a superior.

The business friendship quickly evolved into marriage.

Despite the drama that is now engulfing Yul's marriage, his equally famous father, Pete Edochie, has distanced himself from Yul's second bride, according to a statement issued by his elder brother.

Yul, who earned a Bachelor of Arts in Dramatic Arts from the University of Port Harcourt, followed in the footsteps of his father, a prominent Nigerian actor.

His brother, Uche, a well-known Nigerian postwar and contemporary painter, claimed that Yul informed them of his plans to marry a new bride, and they strongly counselled him not to.

He also stated that the family is as taken aback as Nigerians on social media.

Yul and May have four kids: three boys and a girl. Danielle, Kambi, Karl, and Victory are their names.

Yul Edochie, a well-known Nollywood actor and politician, has explained why he married his on-screen sweetheart, Judy Austin Muoghalu.
